An 18-year-old boy, identified as Yaw Brakoh, popularly known as “2 Cedi,” has been arrested for allegedly killing his grandmother at Wassa Adansi in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday morning at the victim’s residence, sparking shock and disbelief among residents of the community.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly attacked the elderly woman under circumstances that are yet to be clearly established. Alarmed community members who discovered the scene quickly informed the police, leading to the arrest of the teenager.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at a morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Meanwhile, police have launched investigations to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
