Lawson Media’s “Ghana Se Sen” Morning Show host, Kwame Tanko, has provided an update on the condition of Sandra Baafi Boateng, a victim of the tragic Baba Yara Military Recruitment Stampede.
Speaking during the show today, Kwame Tanko responded to growing public concerns and repeated enquiries about her health status, noting that many listeners have been asking for updates.
According to him, Sandra, who is now at the 37 Military Hospital, is currently receiving full medical care and is in good hands, with healthcare professionals ensuring she gets all necessary treatment to aid her recovery.
However, Kwame Tanko sadly disclosed that doctors at the 37 Military Hospital have conducted thorough psychological and mental evaluations of her condition, concluding that her condition is irreversible.
Sandra Baafi Boateng has been under medical supervision since February 26, 2026, when she was transferred to the 37 Military Hospital for continued treatment.
She has remained bedridden since the incident, which occurred during the 2025/2026 Ghana Armed Forces recruitment exercise at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
