The visit highlighted Lawson Media’s commitment to community support beyond media celebrations.

- Lawson Media shares Mother’s Day love with the less privileged
As many people across the country celebrated Mother’s Day with their families and loved ones, Lawson Media chose to spread love and kindness to children at Cherub Children’s Home through a special donation exercise.
The media organization donated assorted food items and other essential supplies to support the children at the home as part of activities marking this year’s Mother’s Day celebration.

According to officials of Lawson Media, although the day was set aside to honour mothers, it was equally important not to forget vulnerable children who also deserve love, care, and happiness.

The donation exercise brought smiles to the faces of the children as management and staff of Lawson Media interacted warmly with them.
In a touching gesture, Head of Lawson Media Events Team, Mr. Vincent, personally donated GHC 400 to support the upkeep and welfare of the children.

Speaking in an interview after the presentation, Head of Lawson Afisem Production Team, Nana Agyei Sikapa, said Lawson Media could not celebrate Mother’s Day in comfort while leaving the children behind.

“We cannot eat, drink, and celebrate while forgetting these children. They are part of society and they also deserve to feel loved and appreciated,” he stated.
He further urged individuals, organizations, and philanthropists to emulate the gesture by reaching out to orphanages and vulnerable people in society.
“If more people support homes like this, it will go a long way to help the children and put smiles on their faces,” he added.
Receiving the items on behalf of the home, Administrator of Cherub Children’s Home, Bernard Osei Bonsu, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lawson Media for remembering the children during the Mother’s Day celebration.

“God richly bless Lawson Media for celebrating mothers and still remembering the children here. We pray that God honours the station and grants them success in everything they seek to achieve,” he said.
Mr. Osei Bonsu also revealed that many individuals and groups who donate to the home often receive testimonies and blessings afterwards, encouraging others to continue supporting the less privileged in society.
The visit ended with moments of joy, prayers, and appreciation as the children thanked Lawson Media for the kind gesture and memorable Mother’s Day surprise.
