IGP Rewards Seven Officers with Promotion After Tema Anti-Robbery Operation

The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has promoted seven officers from the Tema Regional Police Command in recognition of their exceptional performance during a recent anti-robbery operation.

The decision follows the officers’ rapid response to a robbery incident involving a mobile money vendor at Tema Community 5. Their intervention led to the shooting of two suspected robbers and the recovery of a firearm, ammunition, and other key evidence.

- Chief Inspector Enoch Nartey Nuer
- Inspector Gershon Dekpey
- Inspector Prince Asante
- Sergeant Lukman Mohammed
- Sergeant Eugene Kuudouru
- Corporal Jerome Akator
- Lance Corporal Jonathan Sewurah
Commendation from Police Leadership
Mr Yohuno, alongside the Police Management Board (POMAB), commended the officers for their courage, discipline, and professionalism.

He noted that their actions exemplify the commitment required to combat crime and ensure public safety.
