Lady Julia Osei Tutu has encouraged children to remain disciplined and committed to their education, stressing that learning is key to building a successful future.
She delivered the message during an Easter celebration she hosted for selected orphanages at the Kumasi Children’s Park. The event created an opportunity for the children to interact, celebrate, and receive guidance on the importance of both academic excellence and good character.
Addressing the gathering, Lady Julia urged the children to respect and obey their teachers while taking their studies seriously, noting that they represent the country’s future leaders. She also called on educators to stay dedicated to mentoring and shaping young minds.
“I encourage you to listen to your teachers and make learning your priority. With hard work, you can achieve success in the future,” she told the children, while reassuring them of her continued support.
She further pledged to sustain and expand the initiative in the coming years so that more children can benefit from similar celebrations and encouragement.
Lady Julia, who is married to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, expressed optimism about growing the event into a larger annual programme.
The gathering brought together children from different orphanages for a memorable Easter celebration filled with joy, engagement, and inspiration.
