Kwahu is set to come alive this Easter as Lawson Media gears up for another thrilling edition of its annual Easter celebration.
The action kicks off on Easter Thursday, April 2, 2026, with the much-anticipated gala competition beginning at 8:00 AM, featuring 16 teams vying for the coveted trophy.
The competing teams include Obomeng, Asakraka, Tweneduase, Adunkwa, Mpraeso, Adumoah, Tafo, Adawso, Obo, Ntomem, Abetifi, Nsuta, Praso, Bepong, Pikitu, and Nkwatia — all primed and ready to showcase their talent, energy, and community spirit. Obo, the defending champions who lifted the trophy in the maiden 2025 edition, are looking to retain their crown.
On Easter Friday, the gala continues from morning until 6:00 PM, culminating in a dazzling evening performance by Amerado and Eno Barony, promising fans a night of scintillating music and entertainment.
The excitement rolls into Saturday, April 4, with more gala competitions during the day, leading up to the grand final in the afternoon. In the evening, fans will be treated to electrifying performances by Lasmid and comedy superstar Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, adding laughter and rhythm to the celebrations.
Easter Sunday promises a fitting finale as Highlife legend Kwabena Kwabena takes the stage to thrill fans with soulful tunes, ensuring the weekend ends on a high note.
