Minority Chief Whip questions government priorities, urging redirection of funds from luxury jets to support struggling cocoa farmers in Ahafo Ano South West.

- Hon. Annor Dompreh has urged President Mahama to return three luxury jets purchased by the government.
- He criticized the decision, citing a reduction of over GH₵1,000 in cocoa prices affecting farmers
- Dompreh called for the redirected funds to be used to support cocoa farmers facing economic hardship
Minority Chief Whip Hon. Annor Dompreh has called on President Mahama to return three luxury jets purchased by the government and use the funds to address the plight of cocoa farmers.

Speaking at a Minority Caucus engagement with cocoa farmers at Ahafo Ano South West, Dompreh questioned the logic behind purchasing luxury jets while cocoa farmers face hardship due to low prices.

“The government reduced cocoa prices by over GH₵1,000, yet they are splashing cash on luxury jets. Why? The jets should be returned, and the funds should go to our farmers,” Dompreh urged.
