Reverence Preparatory School, located at Offinso Old Town, has sent a strong message to competing schools ahead of the 3rd edition of the Perfect Series Basic School Assessment Contest (PSBSAC), promising surprises that could shake up this year’s contest.

The school recently held its auditions for the contest, and the dedication of students, teachers, and staff left a lasting impression.

According to the school’s Principal, they are highly motivated to participate, noting that the PSBSAC questions are based on critical thinking, a skill they have been actively nurturing among their learners.

“The impact of PSBSAC on our school is remarkable. Our students go home thinking critically, which benefits both the school and the wider community,” the Principal said.

“Salt does not boast of itself, but just as last year, we have surprises under our sleeves. When we bring them out, the whole world will see.”

He also encouraged schools that have yet to participate to join the contest, emphasizing its educational benefits and ability to sharpen learners’ analytical and examination skills.

Teachers at Reverence Preparatory School echoed the Principal’s sentiments, stating that the school is fully prepared to face other competing schools.

Many of the teachers highlighted that this is not their first time participating in PSBSAC, and the experience gained in previous editions has helped contestants build confidence, exam strategy, and mastery over key topics.

“The PSBSAC has given our school recognition as the best school in Offinso. Our learners, especially the contestants, have developed critical skills that extend beyond the classroom,” teachers said.

They added that while the school is ready, they rely on faith for ultimate victory, citing the biblical adage: “The horses are prepared for war, but victory comes from the Lord.”

Students of Reverence Preparatory School are equally confident, declaring themselves ready to win the 3rd edition of the contest.

The quarter-finals of the PSBSAC Northern Sector are scheduled to take place on March 19, 2026, and all eyes will be on Offinso to see if Reverence Preparatory School can live up to its promise of surprises this year.
