Bosomtwe STEM Academy has begun its rigorous preparations for the upcoming Perfect Series Basic School Assessment Contest, with Perfect Media Production conducting a massive audition to select contestants for the school’s third appearance in the competition.

Over 50 enthusiastic learners participated in the audition, showcasing their knowledge, critical thinking skills, and readiness to represent their school at the national level.

Teachers at Bosomtwe STEM Academy said last year, they reached the semi-final stage, but despite performing well, they were unable to advance to the final.

“This time, we are determined to go all the way,” said the teachers. “We have intensified our preparations and put effective measures in place to ensure our learners perform at their best. Using Perfect Series textbooks and past questions, our students are studying diligently to fully understand the syllabus and concepts required for the contest.”

The audition is not just a selection process but also a confidence-building exercise for the learners. Teachers emphasized that participation in the contest exposes students to competitive environments, strengthens their academic skills, and instills self-confidence.

“There is a common perception that government schools lack competitiveness, but we are determined to erase that,” said one teacher. “Our learners are confident, and our teachers are dedicated to preparing them to excel. This is not just about participation; it’s about winning.”

The learners themselves echoed this sentiment. “We are ready to score bigger marks and progress further than last year. This time, we are winning the trophy,” declared some of the students who participated in the auditions.

The Perfect Series Basic School Assessment Contest is designed to test students’ knowledge, academic excellence, and critical thinking skills among basic school learners across Ghana.

Auditions are ongoing, with the quarter-finals for the Northern Sector scheduled for March 19, 2026.

Bosomtwe STEM Academy’s determination and rigorous audition process signal that the school is ready to make a strong push for the top prize this year.
