A man in his late 20s has died following a road accident at Kasoa in the Central Region.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. near the end of the Kasoa overpass.
Eyewitnesses told Adom News that a Mercedes-Benz vehicle (registration GT 7860-X) struck the man as he attempted to cross the highway. Moments later, a tipper truck descending from the overpass also ran over him.
Police have conveyed the body to a nearby mortuary and are currently working to trace the deceased’s relatives while investigations continue.
