The MTN Ghana Foundation is set to officially hand over a newly constructed and expanded Accident and Emergency (A&E) Block to the Ho Teaching Hospital this week.

The commissioning ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and will bring together key stakeholders, traditional authorities, community leaders, healthcare professionals, and representatives of the Foundation to mark the completion of the significant healthcare project.

Construction of the modern A&E facility began in June 2024. The upgraded block is equipped with contemporary medical infrastructure designed to strengthen emergency response services, improve accessibility, and enhance the overall experience and outcomes for patients in the Volta Region.

This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to improving healthcare delivery across Ghana. As it prepares for the official handover, the MTN Ghana Foundation reaffirms its dedication to supporting impactful interventions that expand access to quality medical care and contribute to sustainable community development.
