Former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been released from Nsawam Prison after serving eight months in custody.

She has reunited with her husband and family. Her husband, Asiamah, confirmed her return home in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, writing: “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

Nana Agradaa is expected to join members of her church later in the day for fellowship, marking her first public appearance since regaining her freedom.

She was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison on July 3, 2025, after being convicted of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement. Her legal team challenged the ruling, arguing that the sentence was excessive.

Upon review, the Amasaman High Court reduced her sentence to 12 months, describing the original punishment as overly harsh.

Her release follows Ghana’s standard remission rules, after she served two-thirds of the revised sentence.
