The Sakumono District Police Command has arrested three individuals in connection with the lynching of Austin Tengeeh.

The suspects in custody are Francis Amuzu (44), William Adison (36), and Vincent Adzikah (34).

According to a police report, the Sakumono District Patrol Team responded to a distress call on Friday, February 27, about a man being attacked near ECG, Lashibi. Officers arriving at the scene found Austin Tengeeh unconscious, with severe injuries to his neck and head.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the mob mistakenly believed Tengeeh was a thief. He was rushed to Sakumono Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The deceased’s body remains at the hospital as authorities coordinate with Liberian diplomatic officials to follow the appropriate protocols.
