Former Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, has said Dr Mahamudu Bawumia possesses the character required to lead Ghana as President.

According to him, leadership without character can negatively affect national progress, stressing that people who lack the right values and judgement are not suited for the highest office. He argued that poor decisions and inaction by such leaders could set the country back.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kwame Tanko on Ghana Se Sen, Hon. Baah Agyemang described Dr Bawumia as a gentle and emotionally intelligent leader, qualities he believes are essential for effective governance.

The former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Digital Centres also cautioned against equating public hype or loud praise with true leadership strength, noting that popularity alone does not determine a winner.

He further dismissed claims that Dr Bawumia suffered a heavy defeat in the 2024 general elections, insisting that such assertions are inaccurate and do not reflect the full picture of the contest.
