The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has officially announced the commencement of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

Under the authority of Article 112(1) of the 1992 Constitution, Speaker Bagbin has appointed Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, at 12:00 noon as the official start date and time for the session.

The session will take place at Parliament House in Accra, where members will reconvene to continue legislative business.
