The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) for 6,867 qualified nurses and midwives to enable their enrolment for the 2026/27 National Service Year.

In a statement on Monday, January 19, 2026, the NSA said the PINs were generated following the submission of a list of eligible candidates by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on Friday, January 16, 2026.

The list includes candidates who successfully passed the March/April 2025 Licensing Examinations (minor season) conducted by the Council.

The Authority urged all eligible nurses and midwives to access their PINs online using their Student ID numbers and dates of birth via the NSA portal.

As part of the registration process, applicants are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢41.00 via Mobile Money across all networks.

The enrolment exercise runs from January 19 to January 23, 2026, and the NSA emphasized that all prospective personnel should complete their online registration within the stipulated period.

The Authority also reminded the public that national service is a legal obligation. Under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian aged 18 or older who has completed an accredited tertiary institution is mandated by law to undertake national service.
