The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail in the sum of GH₵100,000 to Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, with two sureties—one of which must be justified with either a landed property or a vehicle.

The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing, according to confirmation from his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo.

Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was earlier remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, and directed by the court to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a government medical facility before his next appearance.

The order was issued when he appeared before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who had initially scheduled his reappearance for January 15, 2026.

Prosecutors told the court that between August and December 2025, Ebo Noah published a series of videos on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, claiming that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.

According to the prosecution, he further alleged in the videos that he was constructing an ark to save people from the impending catastrophe.
