From Dormaa to Techiman, Tamale to Yendi, and now heading towards Bolgatanga, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong’s campaign trail has become a movement powered by truth, humility and conviction.
His words have struck a deep chord with delegates who yearn for a restoration of integrity and discipline within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and in national leadership.
At every stop, the message has been the same: a call to renew the soul of the NPP and return the party to its founding values of service, sacrifice and selflessness. The response from the grassroots has been overwhelming.
“Kwabena seems to be the right person among the five, but because of corruption most delegates are blind and deaf,” one delegate boldly stated during a recent engagement.
Another delegate expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “We are most grateful and appreciate your unified speech that made many people respect your coming. We shall do our best to save Ghana.”
A third delegate captured the energy of the campaign hall, saying, “Well spoken, Engineer. The message is clear and touching. More delegates decided to vote for us. Comments in the hall were positive and I am sure our votes shall increase massively, In Shaa Allah.”
Messages of encouragement and faith continue to pour in from all corners of the country. One well wisher who is a pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Nkoranza, shared this moving note:
“As I listened to you, I wondered why people like you, who have such a good heart, are not put in leadership. Ghana is blessed with good people to turn the fortunes of this nation around. May God bless your efforts and grant you grace enough to fulfill your dreams.”
From the Northern Region, a newly inspired supporter added,
“Since the flagbearership race started, I never made you my choice. But after meeting you today, I am convinced. I am behind you, and I want to join your campaign team in Northern Region and Tolon to work hard for victory.”
