- OSP escorts Martin Kpebu to verify a landed property presented as bail surety
- Property inspection part of standard OSP protocol before bail can be fully executed
- Kpebu previously detained after a confrontation at OSP headquarters but later released
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, officials from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) accompanied private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu to inspect a landed property he had presented as surety to meet his bail conditions.
Sources say the escort was part of standard OSP procedures to verify the asset before fully executing the bail.
Kpebu had visited the OSP to assist with investigations into corruption allegations he made against Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng but was detained on Wednesday, December 3, following a confrontation with officers at the OSP headquarters entrance. He was taken into custody before any questioning could take place and was later released.
The property verification forms part of the OSP’s internal protocols to authenticate information provided by individuals under investigation prior to finalising bail.
