The Ghana Police Service has arrested Samuel Amadotor, a blogger with Dklassgh.net, for allegedly publishing false information about the former National Communication Authority (NCA) board chair, Mr. Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio II.

According to a statement from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday, November 20, Amadotor was apprehended with assistance from the National Signals Bureau (NSB) following a complaint by Mr. Ababio, who accused the blogger of maliciously circulating fabricated claims about him.

During interrogation, Amadotor reportedly admitted to the offense and implicated a man identified as Chairman Michael Yeboah, who allegedly contracted him to publish the false information.

Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer at the CID, stated that efforts are ongoing to locate Yeboah to support the investigation.

Amadotor remains in police custody and is expected to be arraigned on Friday, November 21, 2025.
