A violent confrontation in Mpasaaso Number 2, Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region, has left two suspected thugs dead and another person critically injured.

Residents said they were unaware of what triggered the deaths, recounting that they woke up to find two men dead on the street while a third struggled for his life.

Speaking in an interview on Friday, November 14, 2025, Mpasaaso Number 2 Youth Leader, Kojo Asare, said the deceased had a history of violent activities in the area.

“We received a distress call from neighbors who discovered the lifeless bodies. Upon arriving at the scene, I saw two men dead with gunshot wounds and another critically injured,” he said.

One of the deceased, identified as Borga, was reportedly a leader of the violent group. Asare said Borga was shot in the head and, despite holding a gun, had his wrists severed during the attack.

Police have taken control of the scene and are conducting investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the clash.
