At least four individuals have died following the crash of a civil protection surveillance aircraft at Jijel Ferhat Abbas Airport in northern Algeria, state media reported on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the town of Taher during what authorities confirmed was a routine training mission.
Civil protection authorities are leading the investigation into the crash, which marks one of the country’s most tragic aviation training accidents in recent times.
