Police in the Ashanti Region have begun investigations into the sudden and mysterious death of Emmanuel Agyie Baffour, popularly known on TikTok as ‘Atom De Morale Spirit’, a well-loved content creator and student.
The 22-year-old was a second-year Visual Arts student at Mampong Technical College of Education and had gone missing during the school’s vacation period. His body was discovered in a bush at Jachie Pramso, nearly a month after he was last seen.
Known for his energetic ‘Jama’ performances, playful videos, and uplifting presence at school functions, Atom had built a loyal fan base both on campus and online, with many followers admiring his joyful spirit.
The unexpected discovery of his body has thrown his family, peers, and online community into deep mourning, with tributes pouring in across TikTok and other social media platforms.
“Oh legend of happiness, joy, and comfort giver… May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace in the name of Jesus Christ,” wrote one follower named Blessing.
His classmates were reportedly looking forward to seeing him again when school reopened. The grim discovery has instead left the student community in shock and disbelief.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed that investigations are underway to determine the cause of death and events leading up to his disappearance.
